Things to do in Vodice

Vodice is a small seaside resort on the Šibenik riviera, a short stretch of coast south of Zadar and just along from Šibenik itself. It works mainly as a base: a harbour, a promenade and beach clubs geared toward families and summer holidaymakers, rather than a town built around a single named landmark or monument.

Its practical value is location — close enough to Krka National Park and Šibenik to use as a jumping-off point for day trips, and with boats running from the coast here out toward the islands and coves of the riviera.

The pace is low-key beach town rather than sightseeing town, so treat Vodice as a place to stay and swim, and head elsewhere on the riviera for its historic sites and waterfalls.
