Things to do in Skradin

Skradin is the classic gateway to Krka National Park: a small stone harbour town on the Krka river where boats leave for the Skradinski buk waterfall further upstream. The riverfront is lined with cafes and moored yachts, and the old core behind it is quiet and walkable in well under an hour.

Most visitors pass through rather than stay, arriving to board a park boat and returning to Skradin afterwards for lunch by the water. Swimming has been banned at Skradinski buk since 2021, so Skradin's own riverside benches and terraces are where the water-watching actually happens.

Šibenik is a short drive south along the coast, making the two easy to combine in one day.
